Gripping devices for Foils & Paper

  • For holding foils, paper, labels, packaging and other thin materials. For tensile tests and peel tests. Adjustable, serrated, interlocking jaws securely hold test specimens.

Pneumatic Gripper for Foil & Paper

  • Fully enclosed, air pressure operated grips for package seal strength testing, elongation testing of various materials, and other tensile testing. The serrated interlocking jaws provide an effective grip on test specimens at forces up to 500 N. The fixture features a unique integrated open-close valve for quick clamping and unclamping of test specimens. An air connection kit, consisting of the necessary hoses and mounting hardware for connecting two grips, is available separately. A diaphragm repair kit is also available. See below.

30°/ 45° / 90° Peeling fixture

  • This fixture is designed for peel tests of tapes, films and other materials in accordance with ASTM D6862/ D3330/ D903. The large flat worktable moves horizontally while the test stand crosshead moves vertically upward via a direct connection. Optional accessories allow either the worktable to be tilted up to ±30° or the traction angle to be adjusted between 0° and 90°. An integrated limit switch stops the movement of the motorized test stand when the worktable has reached the maximum extension.

Coefficient of friction Structure

  • The Mark-G1086 can be used for many applications and materials, ideally suited for testing to ASTM D1894 and other relevant standards. Static and kinetic coefficients can be measured with a Series M5-2-COF.

Notch bending device

  • For performing a 90° bend on hardboards and plastics according to TAPPI standard T829. Set of upper and lower tool part.

Device for testing the opening force

  • For determining the required opening force for flat folded cartons along the tear lines. Set of upper and lower tool part.

Adhesive force test

  • Intended for tack testing of pressure sensitive adhesives in accordance with ASTM D6195 and related standards. The specimen is attached to the test strip in the form of a loop, and the closed end of the loop is secured with a clamping device at the top (not included – suggested model: G1008). The test strip can be moved to three positions, allowing three tests to be performed between each cleaning cycle.

Cork Puller

  • This gripping device is used to pull a cork out of a bottle to determine the tensile force according to ISO 9727

Hinged cap handle

  • Used to engage the tab on a cap for measuring the pull-off force.
