40 Years of HST: An Anniversary Day Full of Encounters
An anniversary isn't defined solely by its history. It is defined by the people who have shaped it and who continue to write its story together.
To mark HST’s 40th anniversary, customers, partners, employees, and long-time associates came together to celebrate this special milestone. As early as the beginning of the year, our modified logo had hinted that 2026 would be an extraordinary year for HST. Early posts from our network also suggested that there was more to the change than met the eye. Now the secret is out: HST is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
In-House Exhibition Featuring Insights, Discussions, and New Ideas
Our in-house exhibition kicked off the anniversary celebration. Throughout the day, we opened our doors and gave guests a firsthand look at HST, our solutions, and the people behind the company.
Technical developments, specific technical questions, and one-on-one conversations shaped the day. The in-house exhibition provided a space for new ideas, meaningful interactions, and mutual exchange. At the same time, it offered an opportunity to look back on four decades of company history and look ahead to the years to come.
Various interactive stations provided additional variety. In a guessing game, participants had to figure out how many blanks were in a large jar—a task that required a keen eye, experience, and a little luck.
Technical understanding and a keen sense of judgment were required for the Cm/Cmk Challenge. The station provided a hands-on, playful way to experience what matters most when evaluating a process: The Cm value describes how consistently results are achieved. The Cmk value also takes into account how closely these results align with the specified target value. In this way, a theoretical topic was transformed into a practical challenge that led to exciting comparisons and lively discussions.
At another station, guests had the opportunity to visually represent their journey in a special way. A world map had been laser-engraved onto a wooden panel. Using a hand-operated screwdriver system attached to a support arm, each participant inserted a screw at the location from which they had traveled. Over the course of the day, this created a striking illustration of the international connections and the reach of our network.
Anniversary Celebration at the Europa-Park Stadium
In the evening, the venue changed: The 40th anniversary was celebrated in a special atmosphere at the Europa-Park Stadium in Freiburg.
After an eventful day, the guests gathered once again to look back on HST’s development, celebrate its achievements, and bring the evening to a close in a festive atmosphere. The stadium’s extraordinary setting provided a striking backdrop for the anniversary celebration and made it a fitting conclusion.
