Making waves in the industry's key arenas
The trade show season is far from over—and yet we’ve already had several exciting stops along the way. Over the past few months, HST has been present at various national and international trade shows—with different focuses, in different configurations, and always closely aligned with the topics driving our markets. It is precisely this diversity that makes the exchange so valuable: from aerospace and fastening technology to microtechnology and digitally supported manufacturing processes.
The event kicked off with MRO Americas in Orlando, a key platform for maintenance, repair, and overhaul in the aerospace industry. The focus was on applications related to maintenance, repair, and reliable fastening solutions in a demanding technical environment. The trade show itself presented a mixed picture, but nevertheless provided a solid foundation for relevant discussions and new ideas. Notable was the strong presence of young professionals and students who were actively seeking information about new products and technologies. In addition, interesting contacts were made—including those related to new partnerships and potential private-label opportunities. The presence of other relevant market players also made the on-site exchange particularly valuable.
Another key event was Global Industrie in Paris, where we participated alongside our partners at the organizers’ invitation. The focus here was on the interplay between tooling technology and digital process support. We showcased our tools in conjunction with a solution for capturing, tracking, and monitoring production data in real time. This approach generated significant interest, particularly in industrial environments where transparency, traceability, and stable processes are critical. The trade show thus provided a strong platform for discussions about the requirements of modern manufacturing—especially in the aerospace sector.
Schraubtec also remains a fixture on our trade show calendar. The most recent edition in Stuttgart provided the perfect setting for in-depth discussions on fastening technology, assembly processes, and quality assurance. It is precisely this focus on practical applications that makes the event particularly valuable to us. We are therefore all the more excited about the upcoming Schraubtec in Barcelona, which will continue this dialogue in an international setting.
SIAMS in Moutier offered a different, but no less exciting, focus. We were there this year without our own booth and used the trade show to gain specific insights into microtechnology and strengthen our connections with partners. Our sensor-controlled low-torque screwdriving solutions in the range of 5 to 50 Nmm, as well as high-precision measurement sensors, were also presented there. Especially for applications in the watchmaking industry, microelectronics, and medical technology, SIAMS offers an environment where precision, miniaturization, and process understanding come together in a unique way.
What connects all these events is more than just visibility. For us, trade shows are places where requirements take shape, discussions gain substance, and new perspectives emerge. They demonstrate how important direct interaction remains—especially where technologies that require explanation, specialized applications, and high-quality standards come together. And they provide us with exactly the inspiration we need to take the next steps in the current trade show season.
