Gripping devices for film & paper
- For holding films, paper, labels, packaging and other thin materials for tensile tests and peel tests. The adjustable, ribbed and interlocking clamping jaws hold the test pieces securely.
Pneumatic gripping device for film & paper
- Fully enclosed, air-pressure operated fixture for testing the seal strength of packaging, elongation tests of various materials and other tensile tests. The serrated interlocking jaws provide an effective grip on test pieces at forces of up to 500 N. The fixture has a unique integrated open-close valve for quick clamping and unclamping of test pieces. An air connection set, consisting of the necessary hoses and mounting parts for connecting two gripping devices, is available separately. A set for repairing the membrane is also available. See below.
30°/ 45° / 90° peeling device
- This device is designed for peel tests of tapes, films and other materials according to ASTM D6862/ D3330/ D903. The large flat work table moves horizontally, while the crosshead of the test stand moves vertically upwards via a direct connection. Optional accessories allow either the worktable to be tilted up to ±30° or the tensile angle to be set between 0° and 90°. An integrated limit switch stops the movement of the motorized test stand when the worktable has reached its maximum extension.
Coefficient of friction Structure
- The Mark-G1086 can be used for many applications and materials and is ideal for testing to ASTM D1894 and other relevant standards. Static and kinetic coefficients can be measured with a Series M5-2-COF.
Notch bending device
- For making a 90° bend in hardboard and plastics in accordance with TAPPI standard T829. Set consisting of upper and lower tool part.
Device for testing the opening force
- For determining the required opening force for flat-folded cartons along the tear lines. Set consisting of upper and lower tool part.
Adhesive strength test
- Intended for adhesion testing of pressure sensitive adhesives to ASTM D6195 and related standards. The sample is attached to the test strip in the form of a loop and the closed end of the loop is secured at the top with a clamping device (not included - suggested model: G1008). The test strip can be moved into three positions, allowing three tests to be performed between cleaning cycles.
Cork puller
- This gripping device is used to pull a cork out of a bottle to determine the tensile force in accordance with ISO 9727
Hinged lid handle
- For engaging the lug on a cover cap for measuring the trigger force.
