Tasks
- Implementation of the strategic product roadmap into firmware development planning for our cordless tools and controllers
- Contributing your own ideas and incorporating best practices and new technologies into development projects
- Resource and budget planning as well as reporting to the CTO and management
- Development and establishment of a software development process, including test planning and revision management
- Management of the entire product life cycle, from brainstorming to planning, design, development (coding), testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Interface coordination with hardware development, sales, after-sales, manufacturing, and external partners
- Leading and motivating a team of software developers
- Coaching, mentoring, and professional and personal development of team members
- Planning and selecting the use of AI tools for code analysis, test automation, and documentation
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in embedded C/C++ development
- Completed university degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
- Very good knowledge of C/C++, experience with RTOS, Git, and ideally Python
- Ideally, experience in project management with Jira
- Confident use of agile development methods (Scrum/Kanban), requirements engineering, and test and verification planning
- Proven experience in team and project management as well as strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Experience in implementing and establishing efficient collaboration within software development teams (e.g., using agile methods)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and analytical approach to work with a high level of quality and safety awareness, as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong hands-on mentality
- Open, collegial personality with the ability to confidently manage multiple issues simultaneously, even in challenging situations

Your tasks
Assembly of mechatronic systems
