The 8 steps to tool repair. Simple and transparent.
1. download RMA form
We use the RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) to identify repair shipments internally. This is particularly important so that defective tools can be correctly assigned. Please do not send us any defective tools without prior notification.
2. fill out the form completely
- Detailed error description plus photo/video
- Please avoid error descriptions such as "defective" or "no function".
- Fill out a separate form for each tool
4. receive RMA number
5. pack the defective device well and send it including the printed form and RMA number

For shipments from abroad, we may offer repairs at one of our partner workshops worldwide. In this case, our service team will provide you with the correct address.
6. cost estimate
For repairs not covered by the warranty, we will send you a cost estimate once we have received the tool and it has been inspected by one of our employees.
7. repair
We will keep you informed about the repair status by e-mail.
8. return to you
As soon as the repair is complete, we will send the tool back to you. You can track the transportation via one of our partner parcel services using a tracking number.

For major repairs, maintenance or updates, our Service Mobile will be happy to come directly to you and take care of everything on site.
MFU for screwing tools
On request, we will carry out a machine capability test in accordance with VDI 2645 - Sheet 2 after the repair of your HS-Technik screwdriving tool has been completed. Please provide the necessary details in the RMA form.

Our high service quality and reliability is also appreciated by our partners. The HS-Technik GmbH repair workshop was certified as an official HIOS repair center for HIOS tools in Europe back in 2010.

No, please dispose of defective batteries directly yourself at a designated recycling center.
So that we can identify the tools sent to us, we need a matching RMA number. This stands for "Return Merchandise Authorization". Without this number, your defective tool cannot be assigned to us and causes a lot of chaos. We therefore ask you to create an RMA number using the form provided before each return.

Please use a suitable cardboard box (not too large, not too small) with sufficient filler for transportation so that the device is not damaged during transport.
Repairs (excluding batteries) are free of charge within the warranty period (12 months). After the warranty period has expired, repairs are subject to a charge. We will send you a cost estimate as soon as we have received the device and have been able to get an idea of the repair costs.
If the repair is still within the warranty period, we will refund the shipping costs. Outside the warranty period, shipping costs are to be borne by the customer.
Repairs can usually be carried out on working days within 48 hours of the defective appliance arriving. We have most spare parts in stock, so a short turnaround time is possible. Should it take a little longer, we will keep you informed by e-mail.
We strongly advise against repairing defective appliances yourself. Our experts in Efringen-Kirchen and in our partner workshops are trained to do this, know our appliances inside out and have access to the right spare parts. HS-Technik accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by improper work carried out by personnel not authorized by HS-Technik.
Please carry out a data backup before shipping to prevent possible losses. HS-Technik cannot accept any liability for lost data.
